After another 500 or so kilometers we stopped in at Wyndham, but it was just a stop.....found nothing worth staying for except their big croc....photo time!! We travelled through so much fire ravaged land, there is hardly anywhere up here that hasnt had a fire run though. This area is very dry inhospitable land.....lots of cattle dead on the side of the road that possibly could have died of thirst, as well as road kill. The roads are trecherous with the cattle loose up here and unpredicatable. After hours and hours of dry burnt out land, we were approaching Wyndham and the scenery changed to mountain ranges, lovely, sculptured ranges.....beautiful. So up, over and around we go and into Wyndham where we had a quick look around and left for our overnight camp at a junction where (after we found out listening to them all night) road trains go back and forth into the Wyndham harbour. Then in the morning.......off the Kununurra.
