Day 9 - 15 Nov 14 - Wales
We had breakfast at 8am in the morning at Salutation Inn. And by 9am plus, we made our way to Caersalem Chapel to attend the KPG Conference.
The worship experience was like no other. The presence of the Lord was strong though it was only a simple band comprising of a keyboardist, guitarist and a saxophonist. And of course, the beautiful voices that reveberated around the chapel made the entire experience wonderful; everyone's voices could be heard. The sunlight beamed through the glass windows in front and as I worshipped the Lord, I could literally feel its warmth upon my face. What a wonderful experience it was for me.
The morning sessions were good. Daphne Godwin spoke about being a blessing to others, and not just speaking blessings over them. She talked about not being judgemental but being kind to others and not being caught up in our own religious bigotry. A testimony of a lady who wore an occult kind of jewellery wasn't judged when she came to the retreat centre. In the end, she was set free. The love of God touched her but it was not without the sensitivity of the staff team at the retreat centre that played an important role in making an impact in the lady's life by not turning her away at the onset.
I got back to the inn after the morning sessions were over and Emma took over for the afternoon session while I watched the kids. When she came back from the afternoon session, we spent time reading books to our elder boy and roughhousing with him. I enjoyed the time, however short, spent with him as little Yu looked on, as if hoping very much to join in.
The night session was more of a ministry session after a brief teaching by Roy Godwin. I was touched by the love of God as a 71 year old lady held my hands and spoke blessings over me. As the music was loud, I couldn't make out exactly what she had spoken. But I left the place, my heart fully content, knowing with certainty that the Lord has once again showed His outrageous love to a wretched soul like me. Thank you, my heavenly Father, for loving me the way that only You would love.
