Day 4:
The day began around 730am. Five Mile View provided breakfast and it was a simple, yet sufficient one, for us to commence the long day ahead.
We drove round Oxford City and took some pictures of the quintessential Oxford colleges. Then, it was about another half an hour drive before we reached Bicester Village at Oxfordshire.
When we reached Bicester Village, it was about 930am and as the shops open at 10am, we went to a nearby cafe for my usual dose of coffee and for her, a nice hot peppermint tea. We took a map from the Information Counter and began to plan our route.
Bicester Village really made the shopping experience memorable. I thought it would be a day for her but personally, I enjoyed every bit of the shopping as well. This place has a row of about hundred over boutique shops, flanking both sides of the walkway that stretches for about a mile, with all kinds of apparels, shoes, bags, etc.
It was unlike any other shopping experience which is usually in a typical and large mall. Bicester Village is unique in which you can easily take a breath of fresh air after patronizing each shops. Needless to say, from 10am to close to 8pm, much damage was done to our budget, though we had foretold it before our trip.
For dinner, we had maggie mee which we had packed from home. No more extravagant spending for the time being. Till, another one in Florence, perhaps or perhaps not.
