Leg 8 race 12 day day 10
Had slept really well up at 5.30am sophie and I were on Sail repair all day so using sewing machine to repair the code 1: the sewing machine is called grace named by Lindsey. Cold on deck and misty and damp glad to be down below in shorts and t shirt : they have full foulies and woolly hats on deck. Crew moral is low with some of the crew due to course extension and we are low on gas so no bread making which Sarah isn't happy about. Sophie and I are positive and just getting on with sewing. Was using the machine all day ! 12 hour shift 6-6 so didn't go up on deck! Very tiring sewing all day with the boat heeled over. But sophie and I managed to amuse ourselves. Finished sewing at 6. Read my book for a while then went to bed around 9pm
