After going to bed at 1 roped into a drink by a group of Irish I hit the bed only to be up at 5.30 to take a bus for 2 and a half hours to get to the great wall.after sleeping the whole way I start my climb the great wall of china is pretty spectacular .and the part I chose to climb was the Unrepaired old part so luckily I dodged the tourists infact I had it to myself for long periods.after reaching the end of the wall you can legally climb due to safety issues I was faced with I Chinese dude shouting at me I obviously ignored him climbed down and after a bit of forest hiking climbed back on the wall which by now was only a metre wide due to the rest collapsing after another 20 min I was now faced with another guard who told in perfect English I could go no further.which in reflection was a good thing as when I returned the last bus was leaving .so with aching feet( not that bad as a Chinese woman gave me something to put on them) sat in a bar and have just been bought more beer by a local who wouldn't take no for an answer .and I have to be up at 6 for a plane I think as there is much confusion with the emails from the Chinese company I booked with last night sure it will work out now just have to sort accommodation .
