Ok so if your squeamish stop reading now and I mean that .i had a conversation with a girl who lives in china who related this story .apparently another fellow English teacher who became I'll after a rather late drinking session visited the toilet .and to his horror found as he put it a half foot long snake with a thousand eyes exiting from his bottom .this is obviously a slight exaggeration however after more enquiries it is quite widespread to get infected with roundworm (due to the fact most vegetables are grown in human excrement ,by product of terrible sewage situation).it is a large worm that can grow to half a foot and lives in the intestines consuming nutrients from everything you eat.now after watching the mountains of food literally that chinese family's consume and the fact that everyone is so thin I am starting to believe this is quite a natural occurrence .now after a rather dubious toilet visit and the fact I have been consuming a lot of food since I started to feel unwell and still looking thinner than normal I find myself wondering if maybe I have a new little friend, this situation is easily remedied with a prescription from your local Chinese chemist however as I still have another 2 weeks here I guess I better give my new friend a name as he will be with me for a little longer ;) ..or maybe I'm just imaging it either way I won't be leaving china with little johnny .
