This morning we had prearranged to have long lie ins and skip breakfast. This allowed my dad & I to head to the gym as soon as we got up. I followed this up with a run across the beach.
We walked to the main beach in El Medano for lunch in a cafe. I opted for the fish which was very tasty. On the way back to the hotel we stopped off in the beach bar located just yards from the hotel. With music playing & almost everyone there being Spanish this was a nice change from the hotel contingent.
The parents headed for some rest time. I spent the afternoon switching between the sun lounger, the beach bar, the sea & the pool. I had been hoping whilst I was at the beach bar someone would set up the volleyball net, but there were no players down today.
It was time for snacks on the balcony next, before heading to the terrace for a beer watching the sun go down.
At dinner we grabbed a bottle of vina sol, then played cards back out on the terrace. Even though it was dark it was still 16degrees.
