Even worse this morning an alarm had to be set for 08:15. This was to allow us enough time to have breakfast before getting ready to catch the coach from the hotel at 10:15.
On our small minibus we were the only people heading to Siam Park, while the other four people were off to Jungle Land.
We had been advised to head to the Park on Tuesday as this was another busy flights day so the park would be quiet. We were quickly inside with our VIP all inclusive wristbands & set off on a walk around the park to get our bearings. This is when we discovered that the wave pool was closed for maintenance. I understand that some slides or small sections of the park would be closed being winter. But along with the wave pool the whole beach area was inaccessible.
This was quite disappointing as three of the four bars & restaurants we could use the VIP where in this area, but nobody had told us this on the phone.
Putting the great annoyance the park was great & would certainly go back just being a bit more wary to find out if everything was open before paying full whack.
Everything that was open though was fantastic. Our first stop was the lazy river which in places almost brought you to a standstill. Towards the end of the river you could go left or right. We opted to go left and this took us down another section of the river before leading to some Rapids, that took you underneath a shark filled aquarium. This was an unexpected addition. The rest of the afternoon was spent with mainly myself going on different rides while being set around our very relaxing base in the Thai bar.
Back at the hotel we had some chill out time. Before dinner we grabbed a drink outside on the terrace. Even though we were the only people out there! Dinner was nice & quiet as most guests had headed off to do the quiz. After dinner we had one more drink while playing cards.
