As much fun as last night was, inevitably there is always the morning after. I did not feel great this morning. The good thing about being on holiday though is that I didn’t have to do anything. So after a lite breakfast I simply went back to bed. Charlotte and Lorna went off to the shopping mall on the mini train. Leaving me to have a dip in the pool and a chat with Becky. I followed up with a couple of shandy’s at the top pool bar. One in the sun and one out. I made sure to have water and a piece of fish. Definitely have my sensible head on today.
At 15:00 we headed to the beach to play volleyball. However there was no one there. We checked at the pool at no animation staff either. So we gave up and got ready to sit by the pool. At which point they had all appeared just slightly late. We missed the first couple of points of the the first very one sided game. A large family from the Netherlands were on my side whom all had played before. Lorna only had one volleyball player on her side and a lot of first timers. After another one sided game, we mixed the teams up and this was a much more even contest. Beach volleyball in the heat, is what it’s all about. I even managed to get a few smashes in, following some great sets.
Exhausted the next couple of hours were spent in and out of the main pool relaxing in the sun.
Dinner was some tasty fish, the after dinner entertainment however was very fishy. ‘Bruno Mars’ did not live up to the heights reached by ‘Tina Turner’ & after the second song I called it a night.
