Happy Birthday Dear Sacha, Happy Birthday to you – love ya loads!

Early wake-up – think we were up a good hr before alarm went off at 7:30am, much lighter now in the mornings!

Pack zee trailer & off – a different route via the floodplains to Beagle Bay – wanted to see church alter built out of pearl & mother of pearl – oh dear we all took photos in a church, not good is it(?) but quite beautiful! On the road again back all the way almost to Broome & then over east a couple hundred km to Derby.

Pretty hot day and even air conditioner in car was overusing the engine – not working the very best – not the best car ride we have ever had, ooh it was pretty hard – sorry Sach, on your birthday as well. Jaz had to get out a few times to throw up – or just do it in the car too quickly to get anywhere! All a bit irritable in close quarters.

Happy Birthday Sach – we went for dinner at the Boab Inn I think it was – we ordered cake for dessert & they brought us candles, only Jaz wasn't singing Happy Birthday – very fast asleep little possum. Tenille ate the ice cream & Tiramisu with Sach – a bit of a non-event for ol’ Sach – back to the camp site & no wild parties this year in good ol’ Derby – wow the folk in this town – some of them are just a tad weird – or maybe just too many bad drunks hanging aroung the Boab, what in Africa they call a Baobab – no wonder I was a little confused at the name when I first heard it called a Boab tree.
