We left Stewart, BC this morning, retracing our steps on the 36 mile long Stewart-Hyder Access Road. September 21, 2013 Saturday Day 77 Cloudy, 47 degrees, little bits of blue sky this morning. We left Watson Lake and headed down the Cassiar Highway, a remote, scenic, 450 mile long road. We chose The Cassiar as a scenic alternative to the more travelled Alaska Highway. For this first section of a few hundred miles, there is no center line, no shoulders, a bit scary.
