Day 80
We headed out this morning from Prince George, BC, a beautiful, very clean city. There is a wonderful community garden right in town. It has raised beds and large planters up throughout the garden. These planters are painted to look like cans of Green Giant vegetables and Campbells Soup. Very cool, I waned to get a picture or walk around in the garden, but we were in a bunch of traffic, pulling the camper looking for our next intersection and there was no place to safely pull over.
Today, we drove south on 97, through Quesnel, McLeese Lake, Clinton, to Cache Creek. Then east on Canada 1 to Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Sicamous, (after which we got our first glimpse of the Canadian Rockies) and then to Revelstoke, BC.
In addition to the above towns, we passed through a lot of green farmland, fields, cattle and horse farms, pastureland, lakes, fishing and camping resorts. Started seeing sandhill cranes flying overhead and in some of the pastures.
Camped at Canada West RV Park in Revelstoke, BC.
