The night boat was really hot and there was nothing there to cool us down at all. We didn't sleep very well as the beds were hard and too short so our feet stuck out into the aisle. Luckily we arrived late at about 6am rather than 5am, we got a taxi to our hotel where the staff were just opening the doors, it opened at 7am and we got there at 7:02. We went to our room which was very nice, it had a big double bed with TV fridge and nice en-suite. We decided to pay to use the air con which was about £4 for the 3 nights which was well worth it. We had a nap until about midday then went to the beach.
The beach was very nice and the sea was clear blue and no waves whatsoever. We ordered food on the beach and laid there all afternoon. The sea was really warm and you could do loads of watersports there, they even had what was called a fly board which was like a water jet-pack, but it was about £30 for ten minutes so didn't bother.
Later that day we went into town for something to eat, everyone here is western, there were more westerners than Thais. And every other place was a bar or club with loads of groups of men just getting drunk all day which kind of made it feel like a lads holiday place or like Benidorm of Thailand.
We ate at a small place and got two noodle dishes three drinks and two ice creams and it came to about £3!
The next day we had another relaxed day where we ate breakfast on the beach , sat there for a few hours then went back to the room for a couple of hours on the afternoon to escape the heat and watch the news while enjoying the air con.
That night we went out to eat at a night market but most places where shut which meant that we had to eat at a pizza place which was quite nice but quite a bit more expensive than other places.
We did the same the next day as the last two days, relaxing while we could, laying on the sun loungers and drinking ice slushies. Later on we went to the night market and got different food from different stalls, we got fried prawns, spring rolls, fried chicken and pork ribs, all came with Thai sweet chilli which was really really good. We also went for a drink but only had one because it was very expensive as it was a very touristy place.
We got an early night as we had to be up early to get our taxi to the ferry port.
