Was glad to leave the campsite as already, in the morning, they were playing repetitive thumping music by the pool.
Walked round San Marino this morning. Although it is touristy it is laid back and friendly. It is trying very hard to keep the tourists entertained. It has many weird museums. Some examples - Torture Museum, Vampire Museum, Old Arms Museum, New Arms Museum, Ferrari Museum and an Aircraft Museum just to name some.
I was recommended to go onto Urbino which was yet another fortified city so didn't stay long.
Then drove onto Perugia where that awful murder with Foxy Loxy took place. Sat nav took me onto some very narrow and steep hills. Again found it quite dull- maybe it was the time of day.
Found a Lidl's and did a shop. They only had the slightly larger cartons of dog food which wouldn't keep so as Sacha had been so good I ket her eat a whole one. 5 minutes later she vomited it all up.
As I was driving on towards a lake I saw the equivalent of an Aires with a few parked motorhomes. I couldn't work out how to get in so I parked elsewhere and asked. You pay by machine about €10 which includes points for electricity. There is also an ultra clean toilet block -one with a shower. Outside there was mood lighting which changed to different colours.
In the event I stayed in the ordinary car park for nothing. Sacha fell in love with another dog being taken for a walk. She was desperate to play but the other dog wasn't particularly interested. Maybe there was a language problem.
