Geoff N Jan Cagney's Travels
This sleepy little fishing village once had it's streets paved in pearl shells. The Main Street overlooks Shark Bay where several ships were anchored. This is also the most westerly town in Oz. Our van site was about two stories up set into the hill where we had a great view although a bit windy. We enjoyed the aquarium and called into look at Nanga (an old sheep station turned into a beach resort ), the historic shell quarry and the stromatolites while in the area as well. The resident emus called in for a visit which was exciting.
