Our trip ended up at Alexander Headland and not in Pittsworth as this is where we hope to set up home next. The time away has gone quickly and it is great to spend time with Dace, Tanja, Jae, Robert and of course Aaby. We are now planning our next trip back to a Darwin and Broome to defend our bowls title.

Stopping off for a break before we finish out trip was a chance to catch up with Helen, Peter, Leone and Len as they were heading further south in their vans. Driving past Sawtell we called in for lunch and a look around. This could be a possible future get away. Funny now after so many roads and scenery we took more notice and a better appreciation of our own back yard.

Trevor told us about the back road from Canberra to Nowra which was a lovely quiet drive through the Yerriyong State Forest. We stopped off at Tarago for morning tea. Trevor and Fran invited us to join them at the members lounge at the local races. Weather was great and we did get the odd win.

We called into Albury on our way to Canberra and caught up with Jock and Ann. We spent a day at the war memorial for the tour and stayed for the closing ceremony. As we have done most of the other tourist spots before we didn't spend too long here. It was great to catch up with Geoff, Jacque and Rob from our days in Malaysia.

Arrived here and had a great catch up with all the family. Got to enjoy a few nights at Tabcorp with Mavis and Ron as well as a visit to Southbank before we start heading north.
