Geoff N Jan Cagney's Travels
Coral Bay is a favourite spot for families and visitors to WA as the calm shallow inlet is great for a paddle or walk along the shoreline. The edge drops off a few feet out and about a metre from there you can snorkel the coral and see the colourful fish. We walked around to the shark nursery where we saw quite a few various sizes as well as some sting rays. Jan did the quad bike tour finishing with a climb up the biggest dune to view the sunset. We opted not to do the boat trip as the coral wasn't as colourful as it is on the barrier reef. It was a good place to relax and catch up on reading as there is no TV and only a few restaurants and coffee places.
