Oh My God, this place is a well kept secret. We only went through the tip of Gregory National Park and were amazed at the views. I'm sure the 4wd trips would blow you away. We met a couple cycling 16,000km and encourage you to check out their website. Www.carecycleoz.com.

We stopped for lunch at Pine Creek (historic railway town) on our way back to Katherine, it was a tidy and inviting place. O'Keefe House was the last site we wanted to visit in Katherine before we started heading west to WA. Again we enjoyed a dip in the springs every afternoon to cool down.

We called in for coffee and had a good walk around the war cemetery. There was also some rail history over the bridge. We left there and called in to Pine Creek for lunch, it also has an impressive rail history, we skipped these and travelled back into Katherine.

We decided to have a long day visit and went in as far as The Cascades. We turned back to work our way home and visited Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls lookout, The Lost City and stopped for lunch at Litchfield Tourist Park for yummy Barra and steak burgers. We then doubled back to the Termite Mounds before finishing off at Florence Falls where after tackling the 135 stairs down we were rewarded with a swim in amongst the rocks and fish (black bream?).

We stopped in this lovely new town, only turned 60 this year. The pool was lovely and we rested up ready to visit Litchfield on day trips.
