Holy Cow!

Finally found a computer with a quicker internet connection to provide a flavour of what it is like here. Delhi is unbelievable so many people and cows! I knew the moment we got close to the hotel in the taxi that this was a place like no other. A Cow had nicked the taxi drivers parking spot and so had to drive around for another 5 mins to find somewhere else.

Although Delhi is crowded and dirty the people are very friendly. We managed to walk all the way through old Delhi to the Jama majid and Red Fort without getting run over or needing rickshaw and with using the new underground we found this the most rewarding way to see Delhi warts and all.

We have altered our onward travel plans and are travelling down to Varanasi a day earlier as it is Dwali festival and trains were full, however 2 days in Delhi was enough!

These are not all the pictures we have of Delhi and we plan to add more when get to Goa as they have broadband!

Both Gemma and I are well and are very grateful for all your kind messages.
