We arrived in Kota Kinabalu after a two and a half hour flight on Air Asia, which we were a bit worried about but it was really good in the end!

On Sunday there was a market here which sold everything including puppies, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs & little tiny baby turtles!

We went to a travel agent to sort out our route around Borneo.... We are going to climb the mountain first, then go on to see the Orangutans, then go to a jungle to see a monkey with a big nose! Then we are going diving in the Sipidan Islands which is the 3rd best dive site in the world so hopefully we will see turtles, manta rays, loads of fish, maybe whale sharks & hopefully NOT hammerhead sharks which apparently lurk around there! He also "helped" us sort out our return flight to Kuala Lumpar by booking it online for us through Air Asia, however, he pressed the wrong button & got us a flight from Tawau back to Kota Kinabula instead of Kuala Lumpar. We drove to the airport to try & get a refund but they wouldn't let us have one so now we have to fly from Tawau to Kota Kinabalu then to Kuala Lumpar! We only lost about 4 pounds in money but we didn't really want to be flying any more than we have to & we only have two hours between flights so hopefully the first one won't be delayed!
