We flew from LAX to Toronto to stay with my Aunty Kay. We had some fab weather as it wasn't nice before we got there. From Las Vegas we drove to the Grand Canyon. On the way we stopped off at the Hoover Dam. Our GPS took us to the Grand Canyon Caves instead of the Canyon so we had to stay in a motel & get to the Canyon the next day which meant we didn't get back to Steve & Junes until 11pm at night. We hired a car to get from Steve & Junes place to Las Vegas & Charlie did great with the driving after having a few lessons from Steve!! Our hotel was amazing, it was behind the MGM Grand & was quite a walk through the hotels to the strip but the room was lovely. We took the night bus from San Fran to LA so unfortunately we missed the ocean road that is supposed to be really amazing. So we will have to save that for another trip!
