We only wanted to stay a couple of days in Singapore but unfortunately, we couldn't change our flight for 5 days so we ended up seeing quite a lot of Singapore and liked it. It's so clean. We went to the local cinema twice & did some shopping. We went to Raffles Hotel for a Singapore Sling cocktail but could only have one as they were about 12 pounds each! We went to a 4d cinema which was pretty cool, although the film was only 15 minutes long! The chairs move about & they squirt water on you & blow air on your feet and you wear 3d glasses for the film. This was on Sentosa Island which I think they are making into one big entertainment island. Its still under construction but I think it will be brilliant when its finished. From there, you can also see the shipping docks, it's absolutely humongous! We also went to Singapore Zoo & Night Safari (in separate occasions). They are so so good. The zoo is really open & there's no cages for any of the animals & they have massive pens & all look well fed & happy. They had 3 white tigers which were amazing. The night safari was really good too altho it was raining. Some of the animals were hiding but we did see most of them. The Lions, Wolves & Hyienas were the best. I felt a bit sorry for the deers tho, they were right across from the Hyienas & the pens are really open, they must have been petrified! It was pretty scary for us walking through the park at night & in the rain with wolves howling & lions roaring. It felt like Jurassic park! We had dinner at the night safari & Charlie ordered the Chili Crab, it was gigantic & we later found out it was for 4 people & he had it to himself! It was funny to watch him try & crack it open, we had no idea how you eat it but he managed it in the end, although it was all over his hands and face!
