HAPPY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MUM & DAD!
Yesterday I had decided to give Richard and Laura the day to themselves. We agreed that we would meet up at 7 by the end of Bang-La road. I felt a bit bad as later that night I found out that I was sitting on Patong Beach all day in the sunshine, and Richard and Laura had had a thunderstorm most of the day! And we were only about 5-10 minutes away!
Anyway I just laid in the sun, watching the waves, every now and then I would get someone trying to sell me something. It was nice being able to chill in the sun. I was sat their for 7 hours, the time went so fast! It was tune to get showered and changed before meeting up.
It was about 18:45 and Richard and Laura joined me, watching the last bit of the sunset, it was a bit cloudy, but still looked good. We headed to the Black Horse, a bar that we went to a couple of times. It was good as had free wifi. Had a couple of beers, and started haggling for the stuff Richard and Laura wanted to take back to the UK, as they were leaving tomorrow afternoon. We managed to get some bargain! And I was chuffed to be able to get a birthday for a brother thats a pain the the arse to buy for, plus Richard could take it home then! (With all the other crap they are taking home for me!). We seemed to walk around for a while, before the rain started. Richard and Laura chose an Italian, and we had a really nice meal.
We walked up Bang-La Road for the last time, I'm going to miss the 30+ people wanting us to see the Ping-Pong show- I have to be honest, I do really want to see it! Sick I know- but while in Thailand, and all that. If Laura would have been up for it, I think we would have gone! Ha ha.
Had a drink in a bar called Bar One, on the television screens they were playing jackass- which was making us all laugh. The beer was going down nicely.! We were playing games, one was a dice game, dont know the name but it's addictive. The other was a race in hitting a nail into a massive piece of wood, each person would take turns in hitting the nail. The first one to hit it all the way won. Except the hammers were like pickaxe. and only had a small area that would make contact. Officially I was the best, Laura second, and Richard was rubbish! He's so competitive- we even caught him cheating. After that it was time to say goodbye. Richard and Laura jumped in their last multicoloured Tuk-Tuk and we all waved goodbye!
I ended up going straight to bed, as checking out tomorrow!
