I was up and showered and left the dorm by about 9, I hadn't really walked around Patong beach yet, so grabbed a map from a local tourist information centre, and walked down to the beach! Even at 9 o'clock it seemed quite busy, market stalls already open! I thought I would go and get some breakfast before meeting up with my visitors from the UK!! I walked around for about an hour, and found an Irish bar for breakfast, it was good! Plus it had free wifi! Once I had eaten my £2 English breakfast, I jumped in a bright yellow Tuk-Tuk, and made my way around to the posh merlin beach resort were Richard and Laura were staying, Rich meet me as I arrived at the hotel and we walked up to their room. As you would expect, it was amazing, massive pools, large rooms and private beach! It was very nice, a bit different to my £5 a night hostel. I sorted out some of the shopping that my mum hand sent over, and enjoyed my covering letter! While Rich and Laura went to their Hotelbeds!! Welcome meeting. After we went to reception and declared that I was visiting, and they said that fine for a drink and to use the restaurant, but I wasn't allowed to swim! So we found a quite place at the back of the resort and dived straight in!! Enjoyed the sun, and caught up with the gossip from back home! Doesn't sound like much had happen! But it's good to be kept in the picture!

Lazed around the pool for a few hours, and then changed an headed down to Patong beach. I went and booked the Phi Phi tour that we are doing tomorrow, I managed to get it for 1,000Baht. Rich and Laura's resort staff wanted £3,000+ each! Erm... I don't think so. Had a few drinks in an Australian bar, before walked around the markets towards the beach, couldn't see the sunset, as it was so cloudy. We ate in Hard Rock Cafe, (my second so far in Asia!). The food was good, but expensive.

Had another drink before getting Richard and Laura a Tuk-Tuk back to their luxury hotel. This one was bright green, and had lights, and a beat box!. I walked around the corner to my hostel. It was really nice spending the day with them! Loved the fact that I'm 100% browner than both of them!!! Early start tomorrow, so a nice early night sleep for me! (ear plugs in tonight!).
