Woke up today 2 minutes before my alarm was due to go off, so I managed to switch it off before I woke up the other guys in the dorm.! I had a quick shower, and I'd packed my day bag last night, so I didn't have to mess about this morning. Walked to my pick up point, and when I saw a taxi truck thing pull up, thank god it wasn't another scooter!
It was about a 20 minute journey to Thong Sala where the speedboat was! Today I'm booked onto the Angthong National Marine Park adventure tour!
The first stop on this amazing day trip was Koh Tai Plaow which was at the North of the marine park, it was time to get into the clear blue water for snorkelling! Not as good as diving m, but the waters were shallower and you could still see loads of fish! Next stop was the view point on Talay Nai. You had to walk up a lot of stairs, actually they were more like ladders! But the views at the top were incredible. Once side you had the marine park, and the other side was a large emerald lark, in the centre of the island! Time to take loads of photos!!! We then cruised around the different islands, including monkey island and Lion Island! It was now lunch time, Koh Wua Talap Island. There was a buffet lunch served. It was nice just chilling in the sun! The last top on our tour was Koh Pee Island, here we did Kayaking it was like a blast from the past with my scouting days at Tilgate park! I was actually pretty good, everyone else had 2 on a Kayak, but I was on my own! We went all the way around the island, and it took about 40 minutes, sadly because of the risk of getting my camera wet, I didn't take it... But would have got some great photos...! At one point a large boat went past causing loads of wake, and I turned my kayak into the waves, I could see the other guys copying me, ha ha..! Otherwise they would have capsized..!
Lots of the places I visited today they used in the film "The Beach!" which was cool.
It was time to head back to Koh Phagnan, on route our speed boat must have broke down about 3 times.. Something to do with the fuel intake! They managed to sort it each time tho!!
My last night in Koh Phagnan as heading to Krabi, better late than never. I had cancelled my accommodation, but I'm sure I'll be ok just pitching up! Had dinner at the Lazy House Bar, and headed back to the dorm to pack my bag for Songkran... :-) really looking forward to tomorrow!!!!!!
