We arrived in Wellington a couple of days ago but as there was a music festival on we weren't able to stay for longer than a night because there was no beds! We'll definitely go back there though as it was such a nice city :) now we're at Lake Taupo, an absolutely enormous lake in the centre of the north island. Yesterday we did something pretty crazy and decided very last minute to do a 15000 ft skydive over the lake! It was one of the best things we've ever done, it just feels like it was a dream though because we still haven't really processed that we did actually throw ourselves out of a plane! After that adrenaline pumping afternoon we decided to go for something a little more relaxing today and went on an 8km walk to see Huka Falls. The walk itself was really nice and the river was so clear and blue, it was beautiful! Today was extremely hot though so that made it quite a lot harder. Now going to cook tea- rice and chicken with mushroom soup for the sauce!
