Our last full day in NYC, we were up, dressed and breakfasted (is that a word?) by 9 so headed off on foot to the 9/11 Museum.  When I was planning this trip I had a rough idea of what we would do and see each day and didn't really have a lot on for each day but we still didn't get through the things on the list! We started the day bright and early, once again cooking up some eggs and tomato...... Oh why did we stay out til 3am? The alarm was set for 6.30 as we have a 9am booking for Crown access to the Statue of Liberty. Thank goodness I could cook myself some eggs and tomato for breakfast and didn't have to go in search of nourishment! Another freezing day so we rugged up as best we could and headed out to walk to Battery Park. It's only about a 10 minute walk but that wind! I was up fairly early all excited like a kid at Christmas but Rodd was a bit slower getting up and at em, the result being me bouncing around just itching to get out the door and Rodd saying "what's your hurry" .... I'm not a big fan of travel days.... I love travelling and going to all these wonderful places but the actual getting there stuff is long and tedious!For some reason I had my alarm set for 6.30 thinking we had to leave the room by 7.30 even though the car wasn't picking us up until 8.45.....
