Day 11: A nice relaxing day in Alice. Craig spent the morning putting a back-up battery in the van, with Riley's help, while the big boys swam and I read a little.
Spent the afternoon exploring the town, checking out the Royal Flying Doctors Service, which was very interesting! We also walked the heritage path, looking and reading about the early settlers to the area.
I can imagine living in a town like Alice Springs (pardon the reference). It is quite appealing, has all the necessary evils (shops) and you wouldn't even know you were in Central Australia.
Tomorrow we head to the West MacDonnell Ranges.
