FARFRUMWURKEN
Today's been a casual day, on the patio for most of the day catching up on emails and the like. We had a chance to speak with our next door neighbour, Barbara who's lived here for 5 years, moving down if you can believe it from Horseshoe Bay and bought a house here in El Dorado in just three short weeks. Also had the chance to speak with a Jonel (a single lady from San Diegowho also seemed nice and offered us a ride to town the next time she goes.
Seems like there's a little money here with comments like, moved from "just sold our house in Maui", and trying to sell our other house in Wikiki, anyway it's been nice to hear a little english.
We headed down to Wal-Mart to charge our Cel-Mex phone with some minutes and to pick up a couple of flats of water after having lunch at SUBWAY at the Centro Laguno mall just down the road.
It gets better with each passing day, in fact we've got two invites to two parties, a Meet and Greet this Thursday and a Mother's Day Buffet party at the main entertainment facility.
Tomorrow is the Lake Chapala Farmers' Market that features Organic produce locally grown here in the area that includes Chicked, Eggs, Cheeses, Baked Goods and Prepared foods, so we're going to check this out at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Wednesday is the Ajijic Market in town, so we're going to catch this to check out the lay of the land there.
In closing, I've attached some photo's of the front doors here in the complex, their quite nice especially with the large wrought iron gates that can be locked, but left open to assist with the breezes.
Stay tuned for more............
