Bonjour !

Not much news to report from the house sit, we've been having a chilled out time (still raining) so spending a lot of time inside and watching tv and films. Luckily the owners have some Downton Abbey dvd's so I have been able to watch another season, and still have some more catching up to do before I can pick it up at home !

James has been loving having BBC for the sport, and is currently enjoying both the final football games as well as todays Grand Prix. We have done some lovely walks in the area, there is a river opposite the house to walk along as well as a large pond and a lake we have walked to. The local town, about ten minutes drive away, is really well equipped so we have been there a couple of times for shopping and the market. Today we went to Malestroit, which is very picturesque with a canal and locks although it was too cold and windy to walk far.

The house has a huge garden - James and I have both been on the ride-on mower which was great fun - and if the rain holds off we will have another zoom around !

Tomorrow we are into our final week and we finish the house sit on Wednesday so we'll be back to camping for a few nights before coming home next Monday.
