Day 298 (Sunday 28th September 08)

Made the most of the campervan park for the morning enjoying the sunshine. Had a look around Grafton and then headed south along the coast stopping at Sawtell for some lunch then Woolgoolga, Emerald beach, Moonee beach and Sapphire beach. Ended up in Coffs Harbour. Had a look around for some internet and then went and sat out watching the waves crash in down by the beach. It was then back to use the internet for Skype. Once we were done went to park in the car park by the Yacht Club for something quick to eat as we were hungry. As soon as we were there started getting yelled abuse at from one of the guys in the Yacht Club as he thought we were planning to stay the night. Carried on with what we were doing as we were hungry and he didn't want to hear what we had to say anyway. Once we were finished packed away and just about to go when one guy from the yacht club comes out wrecked saying he has been chucked out as he said he wanted to glass someone. A bit worried as he still has the glass in his hand as well as lots of beer! He seemed friendly enough to us but he said they were going to fine us so decided to make a move quick! As we were leaving noticed a security vehicle going that way so knew our cards were marked. Looked around for a while for somewhere to stay but couldn't find anything that we thought was enough out of the way. Tried a campervan park but it was already shut so no chance of getting in there. Looked around for a while in car parks and on streets and then came across another campervan park. Luckily the guy was checking in another person who had arrived late so said we could stay. After we had checked in used the internet for a while and then bedded down.
