Day 281 (Thursday 11th September 08)

Woke up after a very cold sleepless night. Hoping that we aren't going to find it this cold every night! Had a banana for breakfast and got on our way heading further up the coast to see again how far we could get. Decided that we would stick to 80km/hr to save money on the petrol as we weren't in a huge rush. Drove all day to reach Coffs Harbour swapping the driving regularly. Saw some very nice scenery on the way. Arrived in Coffs Harbour at about 4pm and drove around for a while to see what was around. Looked like a nice place. Pulled up near the marina where there were some hotplates that you could cook on. Attempted to cook our soup on one of these but after a while decided it was going to take way to long and we were soon back on the gas bottle. Went up to use the internet quickly just to check our emails and then drove around trying to decide on somewhere to park up for the night. After a while of driving around decided just to pull over on the side of the road hoping no police would move us on.
