Today we went north of the beach we were on yesterday and did another beach walk. In fact we completed the Bay and walked to where we had started yesterday.
The tide was in and again the waves spectacular. The TV news was in the area recording for the news which we saw on our return. Lots of people about stood on the coast with cameras of every size all waiting for ‘the picture’ while in the water the brave or foolish, I’m not sure which, surfers were putting on a show in the huge rollers.
We walked to Mooloolabah where we had started yesterday and had a bit of lunch then back along the sands. About 10k.
This evening we went out to dinner at the local Power Boat Club where there was an Irish Folk band playing. A great evening of good food wine song and dance was had by all.
