We arrived in Brisbane after a 14 hr flight and no sleep. Got through the airport quickly and within an hour we were sitting in the garden at Bill and Sue’s house and it was 9am local time. All very confusing when we had eaten breakfast at 1 pm Dubai time.
We had a lazy day and by 2pm we both had to have a couple of hours sleep. This set us up and we are now fully acclimatised to Ozzie time.
Today we woke up and before breakfast went in the pool which was a good way to wake up. This afternoon we have been shown the local beaches, which are amazing but had rather a lot of tiny jelly fish on called blue bottles. Pete was itching to get in the surf.
We saw an Ibis drinking out of the fresh water fountain which was quite amusing.

We have done laundry and are now all repacked and ready for the flight to Tasmania tomorrow morning.
