All good things come to an end, and after a week on the Sunshine Coast,two weeks touring Tasmania, three nights with our niece in rural Brisbane and a total of four full days in Dubai it was time to come home.
We had a daytime flight which was nice so were able to take advantage of a swim in the pool before breakfast.
Catherine was also flying out to London and Berlin for a week of travel shows so we were able to share a taxi to the airport..
We have experienced every kind of weather from hot sunshine to snow, cyclones to sandstorms and everything in between. We have seen plenty and met some great people along the way.
As I write this at 4am I guess it’s time to get back into normal time and think about doing the washing and losing a ton of weight.
