Today was a very busy one.Started with a good breakfast and took a cab to the Dubai Frame. This is a huge picture frame where you can see old Dubai one side and new Dubai the other. Today was meant to be a chill out day as we were leaving for the airport. I helped Louise with a couple of craft projects she had going then we all piled into the car to visit a famous pie shop for lunch. 120 different varieties of pie they made. All meats with different combinations of extras. We drove to a huge reservoir called Wivenhoe and sat in the picnic area to eat them. They lived up to their reputation -delicious! Once again Louise pulled out all the stops and gave us a great day out in Brisbane. Starting out with coffee at Mount Coot Tha which overlooks the city of Brisbane. We walked down by the river which is beautiful and set out with beach, and swimming pools and walkways all planted up nicely. We crossed the bridge into the Uni and the Botanical Gardens. Had lunch and fed the baby then walked back through the shopping area where Pete visited a couple of record shops...

Wowsers what a busy day. We all had a brilliant nights sleep and woke about 9.30. First stop the Dubai Miracle Gardens. What a sight they were. We took a taxi which headed out towards the desert and arrived at these gardens. They were in a complete circle and were full of colour. Mainly petunias but geraniums and sunflowers too.
