Gidday again The weather in Perth was very very hot climbing to above 30 deg and up to 35 deg most days but it was the arrival of all those pesky little flies that made being outside unbearable for too long. It was with mixed feelings that we left Esperance as it was a perfect day with still a few more interesting things to see but as the forecast was for high winds in Kalgoorlie we headed north. Hello out there. The farm land out to Kendenup was mainly crops with huge paddocks (some must have been 50 acres) of canola that was a mass of yellow. Our friends John and Wendy have a large farm of crops and cattle so an interesting tour around it filled in the afternoon nicely and we learnt a lot. Morning all . Augusta is a really laid back town to visit and we enjoyed our three nights there. The town itself is not very big but the population we were told increases four fold over the summer. Best attractions were the lighthouse tour, (Steph opted to stay on the ground) the museum and the great beachs and walks. On the way out we visited our last cave on the 4 cave ticket.
