The small town of Margaret River immediately appealed to us both with its very country look and laid back style so the first day was spent wandering from the camp into the town centre and having a nice relaxing day. Gidday from OZ The day we left Tracy's place heading for Binningup was very windy and Steph's knuckles gave the van passenger hold on handle a good workout. The stormy weather rocked our van all night in the motor camp so when it looked like clearing at 10am we made a run for it to our next port of call at Bunbury but that was a bad mistake ! Hi all Well it's been a busy time since our last blog so I will try and remember all that we have done. Geraldton was great and we especially loved the museum tour with the history of the first explorers from overseas and their shipwreck disasters in the 1700's. They also have an amazing memorial in memory of the people who lost their lives when the HMAS Sydney was sunk in World War 2. This wreck was actually not found until 2008. On our way south we stopped at The Pinnacles some amazing limestone formations originally made from seashell fossils There are three theories as to how they were formed but I won't get into that. There are thousands of them and you can either drive or walk through them.
