Sorry - Bagno Vignoni (I can't edit the location!!) Had an interesting day pottering around here! This morning we went a little bit north to Monteriggioni which has a medieval village within its walls and enjoyed a good look around this very cute and quaint place. This afternoon we went south to Bagno Vignoni, following the footsteps of those from 'Grand Tour Days' when the young men from the British gentry used to hit the continent for their 'gap year' in the 1700 and 1800s. This was on our tour 'to do' list thanks to our Fox viewing and watching Kevin McCloud programs!! The place is one of the original thermal-hydrotherapy spas from Roman days!! Now there is a modern day spa there + accommodation and a few little cafes and restaurants. It certainly looks more appealing than the thermal spa in Bath, UK! Anyway, all continues to be very relaxing here in Tuscany. Going to go for a stroll soon to a local cafe/pizzeria down the road. We've only had pizza in France so far and it was fantastic!!! We're planning on going to Pisa and Florence (separately) by train over the next few days. I've booked a day tour of Florence 'cos clearly there is so much to see!! So many decisions to make!!!
