Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort is awesome. We slept with the windows open so the cool mountain air could fill the cabin. We could hear the river flowing past in the night and we all woke rested and happy. After breakfast we went to the hot springs pool and just plain old relaxed for a few hours. We woke this morning to rain. The weather forecast predicts rain throughout most of the state for most of the day. It must be a good day for a drive. This morning we got a 7am start and headed a few exits East on I70 to Hanging Lake. This is one of my favorite spots. It is a 1.2 mile hike straight up the side of a mountain. It is a steep but beautiful trail. We decided to get there early to beat the crowds and the heat. I was a little surprised at how many people had the same idea.
