Our time in Hong Kong was rapidly drawing to a close. Our last full day in HK left us with the dilemma if what to do. Our hit list was far from complete. We decided to go back to Mui Wo to explore as we had only ever caught ferries to/from there and not seen the place itself. It turned out to be pretty small with not much to see but we spent a great few hours sitting on the harbour wall with some beers reflecting on the memories and anecdotes of Hong Kong and watching the boats come through the islands. We treated ourselves to a wee lie in before catching the ferry to Lamma. We caught the bus early to see the "Big Buddha" from Mui Wo on Lantau Island and arrived to yet more stunning views of the islands scattered off Lantau. The 400 steps up to the Buddha itself were well worth the effort. After a short walk through the mountain path we stopped off in a tea farm to have fresh local tea (leaves cut right from the plant). Today we awoke and made our way to the prestigious area known as The Peak. The bus dropped us off high in the hills on Hong Kong island amongst the homes of the super rich with breath taking views of Hong Kong surrounding us. We went up to Peak Tower for some Kodak moments before having a wonder around the area. I would like to come back to Hong Kong as a tourist as opposed to a traveller and enjoy some of the experiences the "other half" have in this playground ...
