Our time in Hong Kong was rapidly drawing to a close. After some haggling in Ladies Market and a rush to the Post Office to send sone gifts home it was time to head back to the airport for our 9 hour flight to Sydney.

My first experience of Asia was a positive triumph. Experiencing such an alternate culture was eye opening and I truly have memories that I will never forget. Hong Kong is a place of hidden beauty and misunderstood by a lot of the world (and reviews on the Internet). There are so many things to see and do both in the city and out that anybody who believes it possible to "do Hong Kong in a few days" is sadly mistaken. I would love to return to the area and head even further afield to even more traditional and beautiful islands or remote cities.
