Sunday we travelled from Katherine National Park to Litchfield National Park with a stop at the Adelaide River war cemetery. We set up camp at Wangi Falls in Litchfield. This would normally be a popular swimming spot but some recent floods meant there may be some crocs in the water so you weren't allowed to swim. We also couldn't do the walk around the falls due to the track being damaged by the bad weather.
The next day we went to Tolmer Falls for a walk to the top of the falls. We then went to Greenant Creek where there was a walk to the top of Tjaetaba Falls. This spot was lovely. There was a small pool you could swim in and rocks you could sit on. If we'd known how good it was going to be, we would have taken a packed lunch and our books and sat up there for a couple of hours. Instead we had a dip, took lots of photos and then made our way back down.
We packed up camp and readied ourselves for Darwin. We stopped and went for a walk along Walker Creek and a look at the Bamboo Creek Tin Mine before leaving the park.
