We stopped in at the Bowali Visitor Centre for a bit of information on Kakadu before setting up at a free camp at Malabanjbanjdju. This was a lovely spot and had a walk from the camp area around a billabong so we gave this a go after setting up camp.

We spent a morning at the Nourlangie rock art sites. Again we sat in on some Ranger talks so got a better appreciation of the art and the locals.

After the talks we went for a walk around nearby Anbangbang billabong. This is where we saw our first crocodile. He was submerged in some mud and water along the billabong. Hard to see at times but he was there, so of course I kept my distance.

That night some campers gave us some excess fish that they had recently caught so we got to eat fish for a pleasant change.
