We are heading off from Darwin today. We didn't end up going to the races. Instead, we treated ourselves to a night out in town. It's been quiet but enjoyable here. We like having tv and internet again. I went to the movies again yesterday. I saw Sex and the City. Cried most of the way through it. We'll head into Kakadu today and then from there towards the west. Hope to be in touch soon. Kylie

We got into Darwin on Tuesday 24 July. For the time being we have set up camp at the BIG4 Free Spirit Resort for a couple of weeks. There is much to see and do at this time of year in Darwin; we have arrived at a good time. We had a wander around Darwin CBD and fish and chips for lunch at Stokes Wharf.
