Last night I was so excited I could hardly sit still. Not from our first long haul flight (which was actually pretty good) but because we were landing in the UK. We were about to start something that we have both dreamed of doing since we were kids.
I had enjoyed our time traveling through Asia but something was lacking. I had expected it to feel, I don't know, just different. After all our planning of the trip it just didn't have the wow factor that I had been expecting when we left oz. Now this really worried me. Don't get me wrong, Asia was an amazing place and I fell in love with it but that excitement of traveling wasn't there.
All that changed though when the wheels touched down on the Tarmac. I have that feeling that has been missing this whole time. I have the butterflies in the stomach and the sense of nervousness about realizing that our dream is now a reality. We're here, we're doing it, we're in England. Now that's freakin' awesome!!!

Aunty Di Hi Dan & Jac Sounds like you are having a fantastic time. Its funny how some countries build up more anticipation and exitement than others. It is great looking at your photos and reading the blog. It must be getting a bit chilly in merry old England. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!! Lots of love, Aunty Di xxxxxxxxxxx
