Our final day on Paros would be just like the last few, nice & relaxed. Another sleep in followed by a casual breakfast. As the sun had risen high in the sky & 2pm had ticked over we headed off inland to the ancient marble mines. It was a quick look as the heat was starting to hit so we took a photo then headed further inland to the town of Lefkes. We wandered through the maze of alleys enjoying a town not really touched by tourism. It was a nice experience of a sleepy Greek village. The time had come for a swim though so we made our to Molos beach. Being hard to get to we arrived & found only two other couples, which considering the beach was 700 metres long enabled us to feel pretty secluded. As Paula dozed in the shade the other 3 of us tested the waters. It was just about the warmest water we have swum in in Paros so it eliminated the effects of the slight breeze that had picked up. We spent the next few hours here before returning back home, sad in the knowledge that this was our last swim on Paros. In the evening we went to a top rated restaurant for our best feed on this island, before home to Z land. Tomorrow we are off again, this time to Mykonos, where time will probably become a factor in our lives again.
