We packed early & ate the last of the food in the house. Our bags were in the car by our checkout time of 10am & we went to return the keys. The owner said we could stay until 1pm if we liked so we took her up on the offer as the ferry didn't leave until 3.30pm. It was a beautiful 23 degs with the sun shining so Jac & I had a swim in the pool. Before we knew it 1pm had rolled around so we were off to the port. We had a pretty forgettable lunch & left the keys under the mat in the car after we unloaded our bags. The boat was about 20 mins late but the way they unloaded & reloaded it was bound to make up some time. We were on our way by about 4.10pm & under full steam as we made our way north towards Paros. We did have a short stop at the island of Naxos for a short while before arriving in Paros about 7pm. We were met by the owner of our new apartment at the wharf who took us to our home for the next five days, & organised a hire car. Our new place sits on the hillside overlooking the town of Parikia on the west of the island. It is a nice place with amazing views from the verandah, where I am sure we will spend a lot of our time. We went out for a nice feed on the waters edge before tiredness set in & we slept the night away.
