Yet another relaxing day today and I must admit we feel good for it. Jac was awake early but made sure I was awake when she rang the family at 12pm. Mind you I probably needed to be up by then.
We spent the next few hours relaxing in the hotel before wandering into the city centre. Frankfurt doesn't have much of a vibe to it. Nothing like Berlin anyway. In fact the way the city looks reminds us a bit of Melbourne. It was packed with everyone out looking for bargains as there are sales everywhere. We grabbed a little mirror for shaving (me not Jac of course). We also managed to find some fresh bread rolls, fruit & Jim Beam. Not necessarily listed in order of importance.
From there it was back home for ham, cheese & tomato rolls. Jac has spent the evening reading while I have played scrabble and chatted with Jo. Really just a great way to spend the evening.
We have noticed that Frankfurt is a fair bit warmer than Berlin. It was nice to head out without a jacket today although as the sun went down it did get a little chilly. The snow has been melting since we got here and it really makes walking around a lot easier. We will head out tomorrow and do a few touristy things. Mostly for the fact it's bloody hard to blog when you don't do much.
