We left Geraldton in search of more wildflowers and went east to Mullewa. Mullewa proclaims to be the Heart of the wildflower country, so we were looking forward to going out there. Driving out there we stopped at a few tourist sights, as we drove through fields of canola, wheat and lupins, it certainly didn't feel like we were in wildflower country.Mullewa is a town that nearly looks deserted as most of the shops are all closed up. We stayed at Fig Tree Crossing rest area, north of Geraldton. During the night we had RAIN, yes another four letter dirty word. We travelled down to Kalbarri National Park and went to the Ross Graham Gorge but couldn't get into Hawks Head, as they were doing upgrades to the area.
